Nursing School RE-WIND

Do you need more than a refresher of content, skills, and/or test-taking strategies?  Do you feel like you need to do nursing school all over again?  The Starr Health Training RE-WIND program is for those students who were shortchanged in nursing school, or as a result of the COVID pandemic with nursing education being received fully on-line, poor student memory retention, or other reason for subpar nursing content delivery.  In order for a student to be successful as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse, there must be the acquisition of three components: knowledge, skills, and attitudes (KSAs).  These three things are developed in a nursing student over an extended period of time and requires a multi-faceted and detailed approach.  A few interventions include consistent and positive reinforcement from qualified nursing instructors, constructive and positive feedback at regular intervals, regular assessment of knowledge, and skills with return demonstration from students.  For many students, this did not occur while in nursing school. This program is designed to basically allow you to do nursing school all over again.  However, this is accomplished in a fast-paced environment, with tutors who are experienced in the programming of KSAs.  If any of this sounds like your experience, then this program may be right for you!
